After qualifying as a technical drafter Anja Horn studied at the University for Applied Arts in Heiligendamm. She worked for the Wochenpost, n-tv and the Berliner Zeitung in parallel to her studies. In 1998 she was appointed to the post of art director at Die Welt. She looked after many cross-media relaunches as senior art director at KircherBurkhardt from 2000 on, and was promoted to deputy CEO. In 2007 she founded EINHORN SOLUTIONS as managing proprietor.
Pawel Pedziszczak has been art director at EINHORN SOLUTIONS since 2010 and is mainly in charge of new developments. After 12 years of experience as a graphic artist and editorial designer in various editorial departments and agencies in neighboring Poland he found his way to Berlin, where he has been living and working for three years.
After qualifying as a publishing clerk Sandra Rexhausen became an assistant in the main editorial office of the Berliner Zeitung in 1998. Following a spell at STERN she joined the launch team for the Financial Times Deutschland in 2000. Then she worked in the FTD’s Berlin office while studying law. In 2005 she moved to KircherBurkhardt, where she was a project manager and head of the editorial design unit. She has controlled over 45 newspaper and magazine relaunches. Since 2009 she has been a managing partner at EINHORN SOLUTIONS.
Karsten Middeldorf studied media, literature and political science in Marburg until 1999. He then worked as freelance editorial designer and lecturer in Berlin. From 2005 to 2008 he served as creative director at KircherBurkhardt for the multilingual staff newspaper BOSCH Zünder. Before he joined EINHORN SOLUTIONS in 2012 as art director production he had worked as art director for Südwest Presse for four years.
After qualifying as an audio-visual media designer in Potsdam Jan Köster received a degree in print and media engineering in 2005. As a freelance designer he was involved in many web, magazine and illustration projects before coming to EINHORN SOLUTIONS in May 2008 and focusing on newspaper design, the web and infographics.
Tatjana Holighaus is a qualified media designer who went on to obtain a degree in communication design at the h_da University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt. Following her studies she came to Berlin in summer 2010 to support Anja Horn and the Einhorn team in new developments relating to editorial design for print media.
As a qualified event clerk Agapi Tischer was engaged in event management until 2007. Then she switched to the KircherBurkhardt agency, working as a project manager for interactive features and infographics. She handled internal order processing for customers such as Bosch, Deutsche Bahn, Weltwoche and the Mittelbayerische Zeitung. In 2008 she came to EINHORN SOLUTIONS as a project manager for print and online.
Sebastian Thauer has successfully completed the study of Media Design at the Media Design School in Berlin in 2009 as Bachelor of Arts. After work experience in different fields of design (including the agency Zum goldenen Hirschen) and continuous freelance work he came in September 2012 as a volunteer to EINHORN SOLUTIONS to internalize visual storytelling and journalistic thinking.
